Privacy

This page says what the desk keeps. It is written for a small notes site in Toronto, under the habits of PIPEDA: collect little, say why, and do not sell the list.

What arrives

If you use the contact form, I keep the name, email, and note you typed, plus the time it arrived. That file sits on the server so I can answer. I do not add you to a newsletter. There is no newsletter.

The host and the network in front of it record ordinary connection data: address, browser, and the page requested. I use that to see whether the site is up, not to build a profile of you.

What I do not do

I do not sell personal information. I do not run a ticket account, a loyalty card, or a payment file. If a page here ever asked for a card number, it would not be this site.

How long

Contact notes stay until I have answered and no longer need the thread, and in any case I clear the desk log within a year. Server logs rotate on a shorter clock.

Your ask

Write [email protected] if you want a copy of a note you sent, or if you want it deleted. I will do that unless I have to keep a line for a legal duty.

If you came from an advertisement

An ad can point at this domain. The ad is not a contract with me, and it does not make Toronto View Notes the official voice of any tower, park, ferry, or pier. The same privacy rules apply whether you typed the address or followed a sponsored line. I still do not sell tickets, and I still do not take payment details.

Questions about a specific attraction’s own privacy policy belong to that attraction. I only speak for this desk.
